Get to know me

I am currently a Senior UX Designer at Dwolla in Des Moines, IA. My specialization is in interaction design. I follow the user-centered design process when designing experiences, to ensure that no user is left behind.

I graduated from Iowa State University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing. Since my schoolwork didn’t exactly align with user experience design, I’ve done most of my learning through online courses and enhanced these skills through work experience.

My past work experience in project management and application development allow me to effectively communicate my designs with product teams and stakeholders in a holistic view.

In the future, I hope to live a long, happy life designing experiences that please a large amount of users. On an unrelated note, I also want to purchase a tiny home on wheels and travel the U.S. with my corgi.

What makes me interesting?

  • I’ve been on the Huffington Post once (ask me about it).

  • I won the 5th grade science fair by completing an experiment to discover the most absorbent paper towel (it’s Bounty).

  • My last name is also the name of a famous coliseum at Iowa State (Hilton Coliseum… Hilton Magic… Look it up).

  • I am a proud owner of a corgi. His name is Milo.
